I saw somewhere a project where sharpening station for water stones was placed in a kitchen sink. I thought it was a nice idea because sharpening with water stones needs water and often causes quite a mess. So I decided to make something like that.

The board is made from maple. The stoppers and the wedges are made from beech. The stoppers on bottom side hold the station steady on the sink.

The holes in the board and the sticks in the wedge allow to use stones of different length. I also had to make a plug for the sink because I did not find appropriate plug in a store.

And I also made a plate for levelling stones. It is made from glass and sandpaper.

Thanks for reading!
